Journalismfund.eu is offering investigation grants for environmental journalism as part of its Earth Investigations Program. The grants can cover working time and expenses such as logistics, travel, insurance, access to legal support, translations, access to technology and data sets, etc.
The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) is accepting applications for the AACR June L. Biedler Prize for Cancer Journalism. To apply, journalists must submit stories that enhance the public’s understanding of cancer, cancer research or policy.
Professional and amateur photographers who cover human rights issues or anti-corruption efforts can apply for the Allard Prize Photography Competition, which will select up to six photographs as winners. Each winning entrant will receive CAD1,000 (US$797).
